Form language:  Compact cabin, fender & wheel arch with pulled lip, very low stance. Is it a Lamborghini or Honda? Can’t find the British design language…


Transition surface: The using of transition surface is ordinary, the hood the fenders and sill, can’t say it good enough, because this model should be designed for the next decade instead of contemporary.

Concave surface: The unique concave surface building Elise’s shoulder, also connecting front and rear wheel arch. This concave surface is from the former Elise, but the new one looks more powerful and more muscle instead of the Lotus Design DNA which is always light weight and efficient.

Offsetting surface: It is a very clever way to gives the vehicle more volume, and they appears with the transition surface to break the big panels.



Graphics: Looks nice indeed, but is it a Lotus? Can’t agree…I think the designers are trying to…
